Catherine Knowles

I am looking for any information on Catherine Knowles.  She married Thomas Procter in 1826 in Cockerham Lancashire.  I think she had 2 sisters Sarah and Esther.  Apart from that I am completely stumped having exhausted all the usual online sites, including the Lancashire online parish archives.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I wonder if Catherine and Sarah were minors.

Heather... thanks for your quick responses.
Yes the three marriages are the ones I think ties them in as sisters, due to the witnesses, also Ellen could well be another.  The census details are interesting, especially with the "neighbours" connections, which probably means they are the correct details... but I still cant find a common thread to their (now possibly 4) birth place, or their parents.  So near yet so far !

Having done a bit more "shot in the dark" research, prompted by previous responses... I found that Esther Norris (possibly nee Knowles) gives her place of birth on a number of census as Lancashire, then Backbarrow, then Coulton, then Ellel, then Colton.  As Backbarrow is close to Colton in Lancashire and she lived in Ellel for a while I favour Colton in Lancashire as her place of birth... this is worth a trip to the Lancashire Archives to see if I can tie all the sisters together, unless of course I have gone up the wrong tree !  Or anyone knows any more ?

I have been to the Lancasbire Archives but could not find ANY Knowles records in Colton, which also covered Backbarrow. However I have discovered 3 baptisms for Ellen Esther and Catherine Knowles in Cartmel not far from Colton in the IGI collections,  not supported by any actual records, so I cant be sure they are the right sisters. A baptism for Sarah was also listed but a different father. Any help or advice appreciated.
