John F VAUTIN in Massachusetts

Looking for some help to locate more information on the following couple.

From the marriage record I found online I have: -

John F. Vautin born abt 1860 Boothbay in Maine
Effie L C Ryan born abt1865 Nova Scotia
Parents
Franklin Vautin and Mary J Richs
John Ryan and Mary Stewart

I have not been able to find any other information on this couple including birth, death, census etc.

Is there someone with more local knowledge that may be able to help?

Effie Cordeau, age 42, born Massachusetts (parents born Nova Scotia)
John F Vautier, age 56, born Maine, Master Mariner, Deep Sea

Update:  Effie is divorced.  John is single.
Living with them are Effie's two daughters, one born c1909 the other born c1913.

Strangely enough there is a mention of an Australian resident  John F. Vautin of Adelaide in a marriage notice in the Brisbane Courier 28 August 1919.

Perhaps this isn't the same couple then; would her brother be named Kenny?

Effie was Effie Kenney (Kenny spelt  Kenney on this doc- daughter of James A Kenney and Sophie) married to Thomas S Cordeau 18 November 1907 Gloucester, , Massachusetts.

There's a marriage for John Vautier and Bonaventure Cordeau in Gloucester in 1921.

Hazel Norgrave appears to be in Boston, Mass. for the 1930 & 1940 census.

In 1930, one of the residents is Esther F. Vautier, who is listed as sister-in-law to Hazel's husband John.  There are two sets of marriage records in New Hampshire for Esther (looks like she was divorced & remarried) that list her parents as John Vautier and Effie Kinney.     The Massachusetts death index & Social Security Death Index have Esther's death under Esther F. Joyce who died in Gloucester on 24 May 2002.  Esther was born 30 Oct 1912.

Is it possible that John married two different Effies?
