Lookup at Kingswood NSW SRO please
« on: Thursday 19 September 13 10:11 BST (UK) »
I was wondering if anyone would be heading out to the NSW State Records Office at any stage and would be able to do a lookup/take photos or save to usb for me. I'm in Brisbane so am unable to go myself.

I am looking for records on William Brown,  inparticular

Series: NRS 905  Main series of letters received, 1826-1982
Application for Naturalization – William Brown
 1875
 box number: 1/2285
 letter number: 75/1278

And naturalisation cert

Surname   FirstName   NativePlace                DateOfCertificateRegisterNo.   Page Remarks   Item
BROWN   William   United States of America   27 Feb 1875   3            158   -       [4/1202]

Reel- 130

The item on reel 130 may be more than 1 page even though it only says pg 158.
I have also previously posted on this as well

Thanking you kindly

Mel.

Hi Mel,
I'd be happy to look it up for you but it will be a couple of weeks before I go.  (I avoid the school holidays  ;D  - very crowded)

Perhaps you'll get a better offer.

cheers,
   Ros

Hi Ros,

That would be fantastic if you can.  Whenever you get around to it is fine.
I understand completely about the school holiday thing.  Everywhere is so crowded.
I have 3 littlies starting school holidays today.  It's going to be a long 2 weeks!!

Let me know if you think you will need any further info.

Thanks so much for your offer.

Mel.
