Norwell burials
« on: Saturday 21 September 13 02:58 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I understand that Norwell baptisms and burials are included on the new version of the NFHS CDs. I was wondering if anyone with access to these could see if there is a burial for William Wilson and his wife Ann Wilson. Not sure when, but probably 1800-1841 at Norwell.

Also, burial details for Thomas Wilson (d1883) and his wife Elizabeth (d1871) would be great - I know they have a headstone at Norwell church.

Thanks,
Alexander

Hi larkspur,

This is a difficult one. William and Ann Wilson were married in Tuxford in 1784, and had 5 children in Tuxford between 1787 and 1798.

Two of those children married in Norwell in 1813 and 1822, and it looks like William and Ann may have had a daughter Lucy in 1806 in Norwell. This made me think they moved to Norwell between 1798-1806. Obviously they can't have stayed in Norwell, though some of their children did.

Thanks
Alexander
