Gateshead Baptism 1841?
« on: Saturday 21 September 13 19:07 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I'm trying to confirm a baptism that took place at Gateshead 10 Feb 1841 for Victoria Louisa Hymers. The Bishops Transcripts end 31 Dec 1840.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Tim

Its on familysearch

Name: Victoria Louisa Hymers
 Christening Date: 10 Feb 1841
 Christening Place: GATESHEAD, DURHAM, ENGLAND
 Birth Date: 21 Nov 1840

 Father's Name: James Hymes
 Mother's Name: Mary Ann Hymers
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.
