Royal Naval Hospital Fareham
« on: Monday 23 September 13 11:09 BST (UK) »
I have a relative who was a patient at the Royal Navy Hospital in Fareham sometime during the late 30's early 40's. I cannot be more specific with dates as yet. Please does anyone know where the hospital would have been? Would it have been on a Royal Navy camp or in Fareham itself? What was it called etc etc?
Thank you in anticipation.

Could it have been Haslar RN Hospital which is just around the corner in Gosport?

You mean HM Royal Naval Hospital Haslar. It is in the south of Gosport very close to the sea. So, easy to get patients off ships. If you do a search for Haslar you should find map & lots of info. Time Team made a programme there.
