« on: Monday 23 September 13 14:22 BST (UK) »
Hi
if anyone has access to marriages in Plaistow parish in Sep qtr 1900, could they do a look up for a marriage for Henry John Smith and Alice Smith please?
I would like to know if they were brother and sister or husband and wife please as they have the same marriage reference in FreeBMD?

Also on the same page are two people called Cook.

Have you looked for Henry on the 1901 census to see if his wife is Alice or Ada?

I have found a Henry John Smith in 1911 West Ham district with a wife Ada, who have been married 10 years - but there is also one with an Alice! plus many others of the same name!
Unfortunately it is too common a name to be sure of getting the right couple :'(
