The marriage of DEBDEN Wright circa 1753

I'm having an on going battle to find the marriage place/date of my ancestor Debden Wright & his wife Mary.
So far I have found two sons baptisms, George in 1754 , and James in 1757 both in Widdington.
I have a sub for Seax, and I have so far looked without success at the parishes of Debden, Widdington & Newport.
When Debden died in 1794, he was described as 'from the Vazy Newport' not sure if this is helpful or not.
I have the details of subsequent generations, and any help much appreciated & I can return the favour if you need help.

According to Boyds marriage index Debden Right married Mary Mead in Strethall in 1753. I have looked at the page in the parish register and its almost impossible to read.


You probably have this, but while browsing Newport, there is a marriage in 1776 of a John Debnam, one of the witnesses a Jas. Wright, maybe a relative.
Also George Wright married in Newport in 1779, Debden Wright was one of witnesses.

This is a longshot but a George Right married a Sarah Dellow in Debden in 1715. Maybe Debdens parents, but couldn't see a baptism in Debden for him. I wonder if he was named after a connection with said village.

I thought that, but I've been through the parish of Debden to no avail, however I might go back through now looking for "R"ight, instead of "W"right.

This is a bit of a long shot but a child was born to George and Mary Wright 09.08.1737 in Castle Hedingham. Just I noticed that Debdens son was George.

I think the second Debden Wright was born at Wendon Loft along with his siblins
