St Mary's marriage
« on: Wednesday 25 September 13 20:59 BST (UK) »
Please could someone look up the marriage of Samuel Shortland to Mary Morby at St Mary's, Lutterworth. It was May 1825 according to familysearch.

They were both born in Lutterworth and their children were baptised in Lutterworth but the wedding is just recorded as at St Mary's, Leicester.

Many thanks

A

Thanks- yes that is what I saw on familysearch. I was wondering if anyone could actually look up the parish record to see who the witnesses were.

I am trying to find Mary's family. Going over dates etc I have just realised my GGgrandmother, Elizabeth Ann Shortland (1824) was born before they married and I think was baptised in Lutterworth as Elizabeth Ann Mawby, illegitimate daughter of Mary Mauby!
