Missing Stewart's
« on: Friday 27 September 13 22:10 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for the following Stewart's from Frizington, Cumbria, England. Joseph William Stewart b 1888, Matthew Stewart b 1886 and Robert Stewart b 1884. They all appeared in the 1901 census but no trace of them after this apart from Robert who married in 1908 and no record of him from this date.

Wonder if that is the same Joseph William Stewart who first appears in the 1911 E/R for Napier .... he was a student.

Probably a different Stewart altogether.   I noticed on the Australian Thread, there is a possibility that he could be in the 1911 census in the UK

Hi the one on the 1911 UK census is from a different family.  Their graet Uncle emigrated to Australia in 1913 and family folklore suggest they to emigrated but not sure were.
