Advice needed, How can I trace the Death of JAMES DOWN?.
He is on the 1861 census living at Marsh Street Ashford. On the 1871 Census His wife Jane is listed as a Widow,
I have checked BMD. 1837 0n line, Ancestry. The one death in the ten year period in Medway was not the right one, (I purchased the certificate). 3 other James are listed but in other parts of the country, Any advice would be appreciated, I live in the West Midlands so cannot go and search local records in person. I need to get his death certificate to fit another piece in the Jigsaw!!
