as you can see I am a novice. My grandfather was born in 1899.

I contacted Mrs Thomas of Bethesda Chapel and asked if she had a record of a Lloyd at the chapel around 1897 - 1899. She got back to me on monday with a W M Lloyd who was at the chapel during the war. I was searching my 2nd great grandfather/mother grave 8 yrs ago in Briton ferry and I was confused as there was no mention of my great grandfather. My mother confirmed that my grandfathers father was a Lloyd - preacher/minister/pregethwr  of Bethesda chapel.
I am now waiting for Mrs Thomas to get back to me with possibly the age of W M Lloyd during the 2nd world war.
I personally do not think that this is the correct man as his children would be well in to their nighties now. Whilst my grandfather would be 114 this year.
I am starting to give up hope as Lloyd is such a popular name.
