My paternal Grandmother was of Irish descent and may well have been born Kathleen Mary O'Byrne. The only reference i can find is for Kathleen O'Byrne born approx 1896. From her later marriage cert i know her Father was William Patrick Byrne - no other info.
I know she married George Evans in Aston Brook in 1919 and was named Kathleen Mary Byrne on cert. and aged 23.
She later married my Grandfather Louis William Savage Davies in August 1940 in Aston, Birmingham when stated age 44. On this certificate she is named Catherine - formerly EVANS. I believe that she lived with Davies out of wedlock and before Evans died as there were children born and registered Evans but following the marriage to Davies in 1940 the children were all re-registered as Davies.
I am unable to find any other info for her birth or death. Any info or suggestions in how to move forward would be appreciated.
