mary gandley marriage
« on: Wednesday 09 October 13 11:37 BST (UK) »
Hi, can anyone offer any info regarding the marriage between Mary Gandley and John Byrne / Burns. I have found an entry for 3 quarter 1878 in Huddersfield but cant find the church etc to find the date, parents etc. There is a strong chance that John was born in Ireland hence the different spellings of his surname.
any help would be appreciated,
thanks,
Tony.

Hi,

I think you will have to order a copy of the certificate (£9.25 from GRO) to find the details but only the names and occupations of the fathers will be shown.

Mary Gandley   SepQ   Huddersfield  9a    531

To order a copy online:

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

Delivery takes about 1 week.
