Hi, if you cannot make out Annie's surname are you sure you have read the marriage date & place correctly? How about looking up the 1911 census? It will confirm the length of time they've been married. If Evelyn, or any possible siblings, got married then you will see the parents names on their marriage certificate. I note there is only one death on scotlandspeople for an Annie Gordon nee Irvine. It's in 1921, in Aberdeen.
