Baptism lookup of Sarah Burgoigne about 1790 in Markyate Street
« on: Monday 14 October 13 09:11 BST (UK) »
Hi

Please could someone help with me my attempt to find out the parents of Sarah Burgoigne born about 1790 in Market Street, Hertfordshire according to census records of 1851 and 1861.

She may be the Sarah that married William Crockett 23 February 1815 Little Missenden, Buckinghamshire.

William and Sarah may well be my 3rd great grand parents.

Many thanks

Hi

Randoms . . . . .

Grand-daughter Mary Ann recorded as born "Luton"
Markyate is just sw of Luton and nw of St Albans
There is also an Emma born StAlbans on FreeBMD 1843 Jun St Albans 6 433
StAlbans district touches Flamstead which in turn is just StAlbans side of Markyate.

"Markyate/Market Street" Herts could be anywhere in Herts, from the villages around Markyate to . . . . .
Market Street, Watford for another (although I cannot think of any other, and I favour the first).

Hi Ray

Thanks for your replies and for any confusion over how to place my posts and in what County board. The info you posted is definitely to do with the family I am interested in.

Are you able to see if there is any mention of a Burgoigne family in Hertfordshire about 1790?

Many thanks
