Essentially, Top of Town.was Old Glossop...........If you Google "Bull's Head" Glossop.....you will find a map and some great pics of the  pub..on Church Street.....still there and very popular.....and that is Top of Town.

"Top of the Town is that part of Church Street, Old Glossop that runs from the junction of Thorpe Street to just before the the Bulls Head. It is a stretch of elevated road that looks down on the old Duke of Norfolks school and the Parish Church,  Old Glossopian born and bred.
