Help to find lost Gt Grandfather 1891 please
« on: Monday 21 October 13 20:46 BST (UK) »
Could some kind person please help me find my Gt Grand Father and his family in 1891.
I have all (or most) of their details but am unable to find them in 1891.
Family details are :-

William FLEMING

Born 24-2-1851 at 1 Gt. St. George St.. St. Giles. Bth Grn ref 1B340
Married Jane MILLER 31-5-1873 at St. Stephens, Whitechaple ref 1C755
Lived at 90 Brick Ln.  Bth Grn. At time of marriage
Died 15-4-1914 at 106 Mansford St. Bth Grn ref 1C151 age 64

Jane MILLER

Born c1850 at Bethnal Green.
Lived at 91 Brick Ln.  Bth Grn. At time of marriage
Died 8-7-1914 at Bth Grn ref 1C165 age 63

William & Jane’s children were :-

Joseph W born c 1874
Jane Miriam born c 1876
Rosetta born c 1879
William Henry born c 1883

1881 census lived at 76 Cable St. Bethnal Green.
1891 nothing found
1901 census lived at 50 Derbyshire St. Bethnal Green.
1911 census lived at 14 Hague St. Bethnal Green.

In 1891 the family would have looked like :-

Surname FLEMING
William      head   age 40 born Bethnal Green, London  boot maker
Jane         wife   age 41 born Bethnal Green, London
Joseph      son   age 17 born Bethnal Green, London
Jane Miriam   dau   age 15 born Bethnal Green, London
Rosetta      dau   age 12 born Bethnal Green, London
William Henry   son   age   8 born Bethnal Green, London

I have been unable to find where this family lived in 1891 possibly due to a variation on the spelling of the surname.
All most certainly they lived in London somewhere.
Any help that anyone can give me on this topic will be greatfully received.
Many thanks,
                           Phil H.

HOWEVER . . . . .

You had all this information in August!

Ray,
Sorry, must be the age catching up on me, I hope it's not Alzheimer's !.
You are correct, I had filed it and then forgotten about it.
My apologies and thanks to all.
