split 3 Lincolnshire Parish Records
« on: Monday 28 May 07 14:00 BST (UK) »
Looking at a number of the records listed on the Bottesford site I would say that it is definitely Bottesford Lincolnshire, a parish on the outskirts of Scunthorpe.

Alan
Sorry, but I still say Bottesford Leicestershire. Follow the links at the bottom of that marriage index page, and they both lead to pages which say Bottesford Leicestershire.
The marriages on  those pages begin in 1563, whilst the earliest  PRs Lincolnshire Archives have for the Lincs Bottesford don't begin until 1603. Also, none of the first half-dozen marriages listed on the 1745-1772 page appear in the Manlake deanery marriage index published by Lincolnshire FHS.

Pam you are right, if you trace the page back to the parish register page it quite clearly shows under Leicestershire.
