Looking for two FISHER baptisms in KINTBURY please

Elizabeth Fisher was born circa 1820 in Kintbury and her sister Caroline circa 1822/23.

Mother's name was Jane.

I can't seem to find a baptism anywhere for them, any help much appreciated.

Yes, mother's name, Jane, is taken from the census.

In 1881 and 1891 Jane Fisher is living with her daughter Caroline who is by then married to Abraham Hopkins.

I haven't yet found Jane Fisher on any earlier census reports... there are a few possibilities but as I don't yet know her husband's name I haven't pursued that very much yet.

Jane lived to be 99 and was born in Devon. No idea how she ended up in Berkshire !  As I don't know her husband's name  I thought if I can find the baptisms of her 2 daughters then I may find him.

Perhaps the girls weren't baptised !

There is one tree for Caroline on A*****y but it doesn't quite gel,has census records etc,and Jane's spouse as John.
Hugh Wallis only lists a marriage batch for Kintbury,nothing for John and Jane.

Bear in mind that Caroline may recall Kintbury as where she grew up,could have been baptised elsewhere.

So now I can look for the death of Jane's first husband, John Coulbourn, between 1851 and 1861 and also her second husband, Thomas Fisher, between 1861 and 1871.

These seem most likely ....

John Colbourn buried 6.3.1859, Kintbury.
Thomas Fisher buried 1862 - they were only married for a year !!

Seeing as Jane Coulborne's sister in law, Mary, married a Fisher that's probably how Jane ended up marrying a Fisher after being widowed - they may have been brothers !!

I see from the 1851 census John Colbourn was a Greenwich pensioner - must look into that aswell !
