1871 look up please

i cannot find elizabeth brown born 1862 bedlington on the 1871 census. i can find her parents george born 1826 benton and mary 1838 on the 1871 with elizabeths siblings but she is not with them.As she would only be about 8 years old could she be with relatives.any help please thanks

Do you have her in later censuses or could she have died? There are deaths in Free BMD indexes.

yes i have her on all other census she married william hopkins in 1883 and died in 1931 bedlington

Could she be listed as Ann in 1871 born 1861 in Bedlington or is there a daughter Ann?

yes elizabeths siblings are isabella 1858, ann 1860 and william a 1865

Did George have a brother Thomas?
There is an 8 yr old Elizabeth born Longbenton living with Thomas and Mary in Killingworth. She is a niece but this is transcribed as 'nurse'.
