Hi Mel,

Hope you are enjoying Rootschat ;D

The information you require is available on Ancestry.com unfortunately I can not post it here as it would infringe their copyright.

I know Ancestry.com do a pay to view service, or perhaps you could send me a personal message - if the moderator considers this also a breach I know they will let us know ;)

What I feel I can say is that William J Beor (one for Censuswhack)who appears on the 1901 England & Wales Census must have come back from New York prior to the Census and is living in Swansea, at 10,  Baptist Well Place.

William J Beor 32  Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales Head  Occupation : Assayer MFO.M ??? perhaps someone can help with that

Sarah J Beor 32 Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales Wife

Emily Beor 10  Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales Daughter

& there are several other Beor's on that Census, some born in Swansea

Dear Wendi,
Thank you for the information.William Beor and his wife Ann were actually in the New York Census in 1900, so it is unlikely to be him. I would of course still like to receive the 1891 census regarding Ann.How do I go about it? I am not very experienced with the use of of Rootschat, so what do you require?

Very Best Wishes

Mel.

Sorry Mel, I did not realize you had the US 1900 Census, and your right that William J is too old.

According to the 1900 Census daughter Margaret was born in Wales
in January 1891 (Rachel & Richard both being born Stateside) and it shows her year of immigration as 1892, so perhaps they were in transit when the 1891 Census was taken in April ???
