converting a .gft to gedcom
« on: Friday 17 June 05 09:43 BST (UK) »
I foolishly used the familytree software GSP Family Tree v2 and now I want to share it with the family. They can't use the .gft file so it would be much easier to get it into a .ged format but how do I convert what I've got?

Thanks
Gillj

if you download a trial copy of lecacy family tree open your gft file in it then export as a gedcom ps you do not have to pay for it

I've downloaded the software but it won't let me import or open a .gft file -  is there any way I con change the file suffix to enable it?

Don't worry about it - I got it sorted. Amazingly the GSP software has an export to gedcom facility which I hadn't noticed before (must have still been asleep earlier).

Thanks for your help with the legacy stuff.
