Hi Hoping someone maybe able to help.I'm trying to trace my family tree and this is what I've come up with so far.My Grandmother Mary Catherine Burns of Killyleagh Co.Down married Peter McCormick of Moymore.They married in Killyleagh R/C Church on 2nd Dec 1916 they had 5 children (don't need the childrens information).Mary died in 1979,Peter died in 1981 both had seperated years earlier
Marys father was John Burns a farmer who came from Inch Co.Down he married Elizabeth Morgan of Killyleagh. They were married in Crossgar R/C Church on the 2nd Nov 1892 and they had 4 children Thomas Joseph,Mary Catherine(my grandmother), Hugh John and Anthony.In the 1911 census John is listed as a widower not sure when she died she is buried in Killyleagh, John died in 1939 also buried in Killyleagh.
Johns father was also called John.
Not Sure if this is Johns Fathers family in the 1901 (John Burns in 29 in Annacloy,Inch,Down with his Wife Alice and 6 children)
Elizabeths father was Patrick Morgan not sure where he lived,the marriage information that I have says Elizabeth lived in Killyleagh but can't understand why they married in Crossgar
