Christopher Thompson and Jane Brown of Lanchester

Hi!
    Can anyone help with the following?

I have a Christopher Thompson/Thomson born 1776 in Scotland and buried 30 April 1857 at Lanchester. He married Jane Brown on March 7th 1813 at Lanchester. Jane was buried on 12 October 1846 at Lanchester (going off burial born around 1784?).

Jane and Christopher had:

Margaret Thompson 3 Feb 1814 Lanchester
Hannah Thompson 24 Dec 1816 Lanchester
Christopher Thompson 7 Nov 1819 Lanchester
Jane Thompson 24 Mar 1826 Lanchester

Christopher Thompson/Thomson 1776 - 1857 was the son of a Christopher Thomson and Margaret Gray.

I cannot find any baptism of birth for Jane Brown? On the marriage register it states that Christopher was from Iveston of this parish and Jane was from Sunniside of this parish. Witness were Timothy Wheatley (who I think worked at the Church) and a John Grieveson, who I cannot find as being related.

Any help with Janes parents much appreciated if possible?!!

Just checked www.freereg.org.uk and the transcription is there with the addition of abode Wagtail Hall so that might help you to rule the record in or out!

Hi Shirl,
           Thanks for that. I checked the parents (Anthony and Ann) but they have her as marrying someone else! I have also checked Jane Browns being baptised at Stanhope or Wolsingham area and once again the trees I have checked all have their Janes marrying other people! I think Janes mother may have been called Hannah as she named her second daughter by that name but once again nothing concrete.
