Hi Pete,

The marriages took place sometime before 1630 when Thomas Goodyer wrote his will (which was not proved until 1641 by which date Jane and Margaret were both deceased). A Jane Rogers was buried on 13th July 1639 in All Saints church in Sudbury, Suffolk.

The link with the Rogers family is Anne, Lady Bromley of Holt Castle in Worcestershire, the fourth wife of Sir Henry Bromley. Sir Henry had purchased the manor of Upton-upon-Severn in 1593. Lady Anne funded Timothy Rogers' education. Thomas Goodyer was bailiff to his lordship. It is not clear why Lady Anne paid for his education.

The ODNB gives Margaret Collingwood who 'may have been' wife of Nehemiah Rogers. Other sources cite her as being his wife.

The marriages may be in the Upton-upon-Severn registers which, unfortunately, are defective.

Regards

Max
