I didn't think the Royal Hospital at Greenwich was a Workhouse . I thought it was/is the Royal Navy Pensioners home equivalent of the Chelsea Pensioners Home for the Army .

Thanks for the info.

Sarah Bachelor was the daughter of John Newbery of Hampton Court and Sarah Newington Giles. I have done a lot of work over the years on the Newbery family but it's still a work in progress.

William served on the 'Minotaur' and received the Naval General Service Medal.
