searching for any GUPPY's

Hi All

Could anyone please help me find an address or children of a Douglas George GUPPY & Virginia R Crandell.
I know they had a son ^(*) who married ^(*) and came to the UK to live. But cannot find them on a white pages search so they may now have passed away. They lived in Malvern so any children of this couple.

The reason is I am trying to ascertain if Douglas was in the RCAF during the war and if he was a friend of a crewmember of a bomber I have been researching for over 10 years. The family of one of the crew say that a Douglas Guppy came to their house after the war to tell them he had seen their brothers aircraft get shot down.

if anyone can help can you please pm me with any addresses so that I do not break the forum rules on living persons.

I think we are talking about living persons here as the marriage you mention was only in 1991

www.192.com has a match to them but you have to subscribe to view the address.  Also - they only show on the electoral roll 2002-2004

Who married in 1991? Was it ^(*)?

i searched freebmd and it comes up with none. ^(*) was born in the USA in 1950 so as I couldn't find him I assumed he had died.
I found the 2002-2004 link. But could see them after that.

I asked manchester Rambler before I posted this but as I couldn't see ^(*) assumed that putting his name on the thread would be OK as I thought he had now died.

The marriage was in Malvern in 1991 and the names and initials are as shown by you.  As they were both born 1950/51 - they would barely be in their 60's by now and are not showing on a death index up to 2007.

There is a different family at the address in 2012. 

From around 2002/3 we were given the chance to 'opt out' of having our names appearing on the electoral register which was 'sold on' for commercial purposes though it would still be on the register used for voting purposes.  This is probably why you cannot see them after 2002/4

If you feel that this thread is breaking the rules please remove it. I will try and find an address another way. It was not my intention to break the rules as I could not find either of them.

Thanks Rosie99 your answer could be the reason I couldn't find them and a such the reason I assumed they may have died. Not everyone lives to ripe old age.

Just a thought - why not try a Facebook search for them.
