London lady again -is she the same person?

After receiving so much help from Jim recently regarding my "London lady" I wonder if these are the same person and the same time frame. I have printed them as one, so hope it is clear enough .
 They were both marked as being taken in London. How I wish they were named. Only know they were found among family photos in my gr grandmothers home.

Intriguing! I think they are the same...very similar hairstyle with the remnants of the 1860s ringlets but the second photo is a bit later. Typical 1870s pose and fringed chair. Again, no wedding ring, but this lady is wearing a wooden love chain carved from a single piece of wood.

This one would greatly benefit by showing the corners of the backing. ALso the back of the photo if there is any printing on it.

As China said this is 1870's but need to see all of it to get to which part but this one looks early decade.
I don't think they are the same.
The woman in this one has fuller lips & a larger overbite.

I think it's the same person....I think the lighting is accentuating her lower lip in the first photo.

Thanks again, China, Jim and Carol for your thoughts on this lady. 1870s certainly puts my theory of my Welsh ggg grandmother out of the equation---pity. There is only one other person in my tree who she may possibly be and who supposedly married an un- named Harley St specialist. Back to the drawing board to find him. There can't have been too many of them on the 1870s.

 I will try to locate the person holding the original photos to see the backs and corners.

  I am fascinated by the wooden love chain which I had not noticed before. Would wearing this chain be a primarily a Welsh custom ?

Not sure. The love spoon certainly was uniquely Welsh.

Try a search for love chain on the photo board and see how many hits you get :)
