Marriage at Lyth 1857
« on: Saturday 18 June 05 15:37 BST (UK) »
The Agar family bible suggests that my ggrandparents, Robert Stonehouse (1861 census says born in Danby) and Elizabeth Agar (b Loftus) were married at Lyth on 28th November 1857. I can't find then in BMD indexes - does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find confirmation that they actually got married?
Cheers, RuthieB

Many, many thanks! I guess this hasn't made it onto Freebmd yet.  I've been trying to sort this line out for some time - there are a lot of Robert Stonehouses out there!
I appreciate your help
Cheers, Ruth
