Hi

Following instructions in the locked post from Mancsman giving instruction on using familysearch for the Zimbabwe registers, I have found the entries for McCalls, but in particular I was looking for a Malcolm McCall, who is not appearing.

I have some information that he died in the 1960s and should be registered under Harare or Bindura.

Is there a possibility that not all deaths are registered there and I am just out of luck to find it?

u might have to write to the government for that one...... 

if u have access .....    i would try to find old guardian newspapers for S A.....     I would also try putting a post up on the South Africa facebook page ......

sorry cant be much help but the records are fairly scant and dis-organised given the politics.....

someone else may have more clues.....   but usually one needs to find an obit..... if one survived...
have u tried putting his name in google with some combos?

Thanks FF, I was really trying to find out if there was a chance it wouldn't have even been recorded and you have answered that - thanks.

I am in touch with his descendants (distant cousins) and have the family information but no certificate or death notice.
