Unable to find a death for Catherine MacPherson nee Holman,born circa 1805/6 England somewhere,,marriage to John MacPherson,Stirling 06/05/1832,Presbyterian.John born Bridge of Teith Perthshire,woolen mill family.
Very little known about her,death info may help.Thanks,

Thanks Carole,1841 Cowan Street Stirling with husband John. they had eventually 2 sons Thomas and John and a Catherine,John remarried in 1865.

Have you looked for her death under both spellings of Mc/MacPherson? 

No daughter Catherine on the 1841 - when was she born?

In 1851 sons Thomas & John are in lodgings - surname again McPherson

Sadly, that one is aged 70 and a pauper, so don't think it's her. I checked it earlier
As Catherine was 35 on the 1841 and John was down as 30, it looks as if the enumerator  was using the age groupings that were normally used in 1841. This would mean that Catherine could have been 35-39.

There are two possible baptisms showing on the IGI in Devon in 1802 - one to a Thomas and one to a John. It might be worth investigating these.

Yes the LDS Ref is the correct Catherine.[daughter].
Sorry should have put the alternative spelling for Macpherson/McPherson/M Pherson,varies considerably.
Catherine lives with her father John age 4,1851,widower 43,both visitors at 70 Bell St New Monkland,Lanarkshire.   1861John age 52 she is 15, lodgers of Isabella White,21/25 Kirk St Calton,Glasgow.John remarries 1865,his daughter Catherine marries a Thomas Docherty,dies 1924

Many thanks to everyone for having a look for Catherines death,have been searching for years to find something accurate but nothing ever comes up.
If any help, here is a bit more on her 2 sons.
Thomas Holman McPherson 1838-1887 soldier.
John Emmes McPherson 1840-1911 shoemaker.        Happy Christmas.
