Help with GENTRY in Cogglesham, Essex pre-1837

Hi,

The 1851 Census shows that Jemima wife of Robert GENTRY and their earliest known children were born at Cogglesham, Essex.

Please can anyone check the Parish Registers for :
A marriage of Robert GENTRY and Jemima (?)
and for the baptism of children ( inc. Walter Henry Robert and Harriot ).

Robert became a City of London Policeman before 1841.
He was born at Great Totham; the son of Mordecai GENTRY and Ann FRANKLYN.

03.05.1835 Walter Robert Henry Finch Gentry baptised Cogeshall. Father was a brick maker.

Hi,

There are several reasons for this message :

 1) to correct my first post :

Robert GENTRY was the son of Mordecai GENTRY & Ann HARRIS ( not FRANKLYN ).

 2) to point out  that he was mentioned in Valda's post on 15 Dec 2009,
     Re: Gentry family in London.
     This is also associated with " Whenu's Scavenger Hunt " of March 2011.

 3) to say Thank You to the people who replied.

 4) Ask that this be moved to Completed lookups.
