date and were do they come from

Happy New Year All
 This picture was found amongst my grandmothers papers.  I know her mother visited relatives in Cape Town South Africa in 1935 Could anyone date or perhaps shed light to who the people in the photo are and perhaps were they come from

 Not able to give a date but the people have the fine features of the Kalahari bushmen.

The white hat worn by someone  to the left is of that period.
 The sticks surrounding the people look as if they may  be a pylon or the tower of a wind pump.
 Perhaps  that will be a bit of a lead for you. Best of luck . Viktoria.
