St Philip's Marriages - REEVES 1816
« on: Friday 03 January 14 17:05 GMT (UK) »
:D  Hi has anyone got access to the St Philip's B'ham register?

I am looking for the marriage of Thomas Reeves and Sarah Ratheram 27th May 1816 - I know there isn't a lot of info on the registers but whether Thomas was Bach or Wid and whether they were "of the parish" and whether the witnesses were listed would be very helpful

(should be a clutching at straws emoticon...)  :)

Thanks, Jane

Thomas is a bachelor, Sarah is a spinster, and both are of this parish.  Thomas signs, and Sarah makes her mark.  Witnesses are Ann Docker(x) and Samuel Hill.  Marriage was by Banns.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
