 I am researching a distant relative, Ernest Hamblin born 1868 in Inkpen, Berks. Son of George and Mary Hamblin. Any info after 1881 census will be gratefully received. I think he joined the Berkshire Police Force at some time. Do any records survive?

Wife was Martha and 6 children with them.

Judi, I see you have "Jones-Wales" as one of your interests. I know it is a long shot, but do they come from anywhere near Nantcwnlle in Cardiganshire? My Grandmother, Jane Jones was born there.
