Hi Paul,

Not heard of a Cadmans in Cheshunt, but there is a Cadmore Lane which was certainly around in 1871, and is still there today.

Just a thought.

Hi Paul,

Is this search connected to the Cadman family of north London.  Frequently small lanes were named after the family that lived on it.

Just a Thought

Thanks guys
I am as I speak) looking for the Census record which shows Mary Ann Broadway Searing staying with someone at Cadmons lane in Cheshunt, my great grd Father William searing worked and died at a beerhouse called "The Pheasant" (latter to be called "The Crocodile) located in College road, it seems as if Mary Ann and her children had to move out (1871) and stayed at Cadmans Lane in Cheshunt

thanks
Paul
