George Baker - Royal Oak Sittingbourne

I am trying to find some information about George Baker who was listed in Kelly's Directory of 1899 as a beer retailer, but doesn't seem to manage the pub in 1901 when a family called Neaves are residing there.  I cannot pin-point his place and date of birth or which George he is on the censuses.
He is mentioned on his son's CWGC entry as Charles son of George Baker of The Royal Oak Sittingbourne but cannot find them for certain on the 1901 or 1911 census.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying to pin point the exact Charles.  He died on 15 April 1918, it states that he was 35 years old and born in Sittingbourne- although Sittingbourne was not a registration centre s0 could have been Faversham or Milton.  The only census record that has a Charles born in Sittingbourne is the 1891 census which states that his father George is a brickmaker and Charles is 9 years old.  By the 1901 Census this George's wife Emma is a widow living in Gravesend - which doesn't make sense that he is not mentioned as 'son of the late George Baker'. 
The other confusing information is that Charles is with the South Wales Borderers, although he originally joined 29th London Regiment, he enlisted in Canning Town but resided in Clacton-on Sea.
As you can see this one is a little mixed up!!

There is a Charles Baker baptised 28 May 1884 Faversham St Mary of Charity parents names George and Elizabeth. I can't make out the location given but fathers occupation is a labourer.
This may give you something to work on.

Look's like Emma, George's 2nd wife was widowed by 1901, so George must have passed away.  Charles was George's and Elizabeth's (his first wife) son.  Dates are a little askew as it looks like he was born after Elizabeth died in some documents.
