i was hoping it might have been a Humphrey as, i had a John Humphrey in Kensington in 1901 a helper,then he dissapears.

Hello, i now have Johns birth date which was 3rd April 1883 Wadhurst, can anyone find John by his birth date  anywhere?

12 Kilburn lane is Queens park,Kensington area so it could be him.

I need to gather more information on him,

His fathers funeral report appears in the Sevenoaks Chronicle 4th September 1936
Funeral took place at Waldron - Mourners included the widow,
Mrs J Vine (daughter),  (Alice? )
Mr & Mrs W Humphrey, (son & dil). (William)
Mr & Mrs C Humphrey,  (son & dil). (Charles)
Mr G Humphrey (son),                   (George)
Mrs & Mrs J Dann (dtr and sil)         (Emily)
plus others but no mention of John

I suppose theres a posibility that John Jnr died before his father in 1936,that could be why he isnt listed?

12 Kilburn Road is Elizabeth's family's address. They're there in 1881.

She's in Kingston in 1901 - so possible John is there?

Hello, i may not even have the right John Humphrey yet, i cannot find enough proof to say it was him in London in 1901 and he wasnt on the list when his father John died in 1936.
He is a bit of a mystery at the moment.

The John Humphrey born 1883 Wadhurst is living in Wadhurst in the 1891 census with his parents and siblings.

In 1901 census John Humphrey born 1883 Wadhurst is in Queens Gate Mews, Kensington working as a Domestic helper to Matthew Kinsela (a coachman).
