Many thanks for all that extra info - love the Fencing master occupation detail. My interest is in the Pyne link primarily - Elizabeth Lott who was married to John Chabas - went on to marry Thomas Bryant Pyne a descendant of Thomas and relative of Henry Pyne an early Bristol postmaster and merchant - who was in turn related to an Exeter family  - believe out there somewhere is a portrait of Henry which would be a great find. Thomas and Elizabeth were parents to the renowned Bristol artist James Baker Pyne ,I have a couple of his pictures tho not a known relative  - just really interested in the Bristol Pynes as part of a one name study  - my lot were close by in Weston in Gordano at about the same time.
