i am trying to find the baptism for mary ann cummings born abt 1827 rothbury parents thomas cummings and mary ann bolam any help would be great cheers

I see Free Reg has other siblings christenings in Rothbury but Mary Ann is not among them. could she have been Baptised else where?

John Cummings is also a butcher in Rothbury , 1851, and he has a daughter Mary Ann,

Mary Ann may well have been baptised at Rothbury, as her siblings were.

The Free REG entries for Rothbury were transcribed using the BTs on Family Search. There is a gap in those from 1826 then they start again in 1829. You'd need the original registers or source a copy of the BTs elsewhere to find the years 1827-1828.

As an aside, if anyone has access to these missing years  (in whatever form) I'd be more than happy to type them up and get them into the Free REG database.

Her birth year is from census returns, her parents are thomas born 1801 died 1877 rothbury a butcher, her mother mary ann bolam 1802-1880, i have mary ann cummings 1827 sisters birth cert which varifies the parents, i have all her siblings bap but not hers. cheers
