George Wickison (born Oct 1850)

Can anyone help me find George Wickison in the 1871 census.

He was born 3rd October in Brighton - son of Isaac & Frances/Fanny (who died in childbirth or soon after). He appears on the 1861 census, living in Devonshire Terrace, Brighton, as nephew of Robert & Grace Seal; and on the 1881 census as a servant in Ryde, Isle of Wight.

He married Clara Rose in Epsom, Surrey in 1880, at which time he was working at Ewell Castle.

I can't find him on the 1871 census, though - even considering the many variations of the spelling of the surname.

there appears to be only 1 George wickinson in the 1871 he was born  1848  he is in brighton but he is a brick layer

I don't think that's him as he gives his pob as Jevington which is down near Eastbourne.  SFHG members only database has a George Wickerson baptised in that parish 1847
