Haley/Healy
« on: Tuesday 21 June 05 17:02 BST (UK) »
Hello!

I'm stuck on my g-g-grandfather.  His name was Michael Haley (b. 1824 in Ireland).  I have no idea as to specific location; I'm not even sure which port he embarked from when he immigrated to the U.S. nor where exactly he arrived.   I believe he arrived in the States around 1845/46, based on statements in his naturalization papers.  He married in Georgia and moved to Mississippi where he was naturalized in 1860.

I realize this is like looking for a needle in the haystack, but can anyone help?  Thanks in advance.

Thank you so very much!  These will at least give me some places to concentrate my search which is more than I had.
