CHRISTINA TOBIT - WHO IS THIS???

I have found a Christina Tobit, widow,  on the valuation rolls for 1920 living at 2 couston St Dunfermline.   All other attempts to find her BMD have failed.   Anyone able to help???

Did you try looking for her on the 1911 census on Scotlands People

yes but just cannot find her at all,  I can account for all the Christina Tobits on the census.   Interestingly on the 1901 there are 2 CTs in Crail 1 with her mother and 1 with her GMother.   I think that there was a duplication on that census.   The CT I have married a Henry Paterson in 1917 and lived in Stanley, Perthshire.

A public tree on ancestry has her born 21 Jun 1886 Hampshire England.

1891 census Crail Fife age 4 relation to head daughter.

1901 census Crail Fife age 15   "        " "          "

Another tree has her husband as Henry Patterson.

You would of course have to verify this information

SP has a marriage Henry Paterson / Christina Tobit 1916 , Stanley Perth(shire).

Thanks all.   The CT that married HP (in 1916) is accounted for, she died in 1966 and he died in 1968, they were not separated.   I can account for all CTs except this lady.

I am just wondering if she actually did, in fact, live there?

Did she not just perhaps own the premises?  Perhaps, she used her maiden name for the purchase or it was purchased before her marriage?  Perhaps, she rented it out or intended to rent it out?

The premises were owned by the Co-op Society and she is shown as a tenant
