Looking for the death of Elizabeth Farrell [Rowley] at Garlands, Penrith. She had a son Michael Farrell about 1889 and he was in a workhouse by 1997 as his mother had died and his father Michael Farrell was living with Elizabeth Bowness [Rylands]. He did not live with his father's new family.  [from old British Newspapers.]

Garlands was the name of the asylum at Carlisle.

Thanks.  Didn't think she died so late, Michael already had 2 children to Elizabeth Bowness [Rylands] in 1896 but didn't marry her until 1901. Would like to find out what happened to his son Michael Farrell, he was 8 in 1896 and being beaten by his stepmother must have went back to the workhouse. No trace of him living with the family.
