hi there, i am trying to track the family roots of the glen dewar family who had links in lanark and sterling anyone have any info i would be grateful

Did you mean Stirling? If so this is not in Dunbartonshire and it has a topic of it's own. May be worth posting there.Lanark is also a different area from Dunbartonshire. Did the family live there at any point. i have access to some of the census records in that area. I may be able to check for you depending on the area of interest.

just got your msge,im a bit in the dark about  the family but records show that my james glen dewar was born in sterling c1785  or later having found what we thought was the family we may be wrong so i chased the name glen dewar and they seem to pop all over the place these im sure would be descendants of my james family so i would be grateful if you could check anyway is that possible?
