Frederick Boorer Rosser c1867 Pancras and Sarah Rosser b1845
« on: Sunday 23 February 14 13:29 GMT (UK) »
Looking for the above who appears to be the son of Sarah Rosser b23/2/1845 at St James Westminster bapt 12 Jan 1846 at St Anne's, she and her parents were living at Carnaby St. At 1851 Sarah was living at 26, Church Street, Saint Anne Westminster.
At 1881 Sarah was living unmarried with her widowed mother and her son, Frederick at 135 Kentish Town Rd.
At 1861 and 1871 I can't find her. Sarah died 1882.
Frederick lived with his grandmother, Sophia at at 9 Lewis St, Kentish Town
Frederick Boorer Rosser married Mary Ann Jane Chapman 25/6/1893 at Islington, Tollington Park St Mark, gave his father as Frederick Boorer Rosser deceased hotel employer or employee.
Help please, I think that perhaps Frederick's father was Boorer not Rosser but he too cannot be found.
Cr
Rosser, Henderson, Chapman, Clarkson, Harper, Healey, Horth, Page, Bowers, Ritchie, Sheen, Smith and Weymark.

Roser, Frederick

Very strange?
I can clearly see a Frederick Rosser, born 1865, living in Pancras on the free index on FindMyPast?
But simply can't find him on Ancestry?! :-\

Parents George and Sarah so not the right chap. :(

Indexed on Anc as ROPER and to be honest the image does seem to read that.

KG - I hope you enjoyed watching the game  :) I've not long got back in as I've been out walking and got a little wet :( Have looked and looked and tried as many combinations as I could think of but I cannot find the Rosser family  ??? John 41, Sophia 44, Sarah 16, Mary Ann 10,  (Henning?) Henry 6 in 1861

there is this baptism for a son Charles

Charles Rosser Baptism 20 Feb 1863 St Pancras born 15 Nov? 1861
Father John Rosser occ Coach plater? Mother Sophia
abode Selby Place

FindMyPast has address Selby Place Pancras – perhaps someone could check to see if there are any Rosser’s living there in 1861 - sorry I don't have access to check myself  :(

Off now to get a warm drink maybe back on later  :)
