Samuel Thornton, born circa 1786
« on: Tuesday 25 February 14 20:48 GMT (UK) »
  :-\ :-\ :-\   Please!
I am wanting the baptism of Samuel Thornton, born circa 1786.   On the 1851 census he states that he was born in Whitchurch, Berkshire, but I have had no luck in finding him there.   Could he have been born in Whitchurch, Hampshire?
I would appreciate a lookup, please.
Many thanks, Margaretmarion

Doesn't look like it.  :(

There is a Whitchurch in Buckinghamshire too.  Possibly there?

Thank you, Little Nell - I have also sent to Bucks and Shropshire and wait with baited breath!

Thanks for the quick reply.   Regards - Margaretmarion
