I have been researching the Sanders line in crediton. James Sanders had these children, Willian, Hannah, Harriet, Elizabeth and James. Willian married Mary Ann Manona, I cannot find anything on her. I have also found
out that Harriet married someone called  White ( First name unknown).
later on she married Achibald Robertson. Can anyone help me find manona , and white please.
Mother side, Burges, Sanders, Wheeler, Ashford, Holmes, Love, Hunt.
father side Munro,Wright, Barret. Husband Side  Young, Craig, Burnside,
Braddon, Nicholls, Dorrington.

James ( father ) Born 1798,Crediton, married 1818 ? to Elizabeth Arbery. Children William born 1819 Crediton. Married Maryann Manona in London He died in 1863?. Elizabeth born 1820 Crediton.  Hannah born 1825  Crediton.  Harriet born 1829 Crediton. I have just found out on the marriage cert. that she was widow. her name was white. she got married to Archibald Robertson.
James born 1832 Crediton.
what happened to manona, and who did Elizabeth marry, and hannah marry Did harriet have any childern from her first marriage.

Hello

I have more info on the Sanders side. Looking at my notes on Elizabeth Sanders
i have a Robert Arbery aged 49, who lived in Bladderstone (now called Mill Street)
in 1841. He may possibly have been Elizabeth brother.

I wonder if you know why Harriet and Archibald Robertson were living apart in 1901
census. also do you know want happen to the family bible.

Sorry, I don't know anything about them, as they are far back on my maternal grandmother's side, so can't help with a famiy bible.  Arbery became a given name in our family, with one in each generation, my daughter being the youngest.

Anne - I am a descendant of William James Sanders (son of James Sanders and Elizabeth Arbery) and Marion Manona.  princess and I have been in contact about her family and have traded information.  I would be curious to see what information you have about this family.  I have fairly good records about my acestor but not much about William James Sanders or Elizabeth Arbery.  you can contact me at robert dot sanders at gmail dot com
