James St Martin Tracey
« on: Sunday 02 March 14 02:10 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for information on a relative of mine James Tracey, Born ABT 1999 in Kimberley South Africa.  He appears to have found his way to New Zealand and become a Professional Boxer (1920s).  He also married Pauline O'Connor and had at least one child Joyzelle before divorcing in 1932.  I have records of him traveling in the Americas as a family.  My question is does anyone know what every happened to James Tracey the boxer from New Zealand (Auckland).  Apparently had a brother in NZ Michael, who's address was once given as the Waverley Hotel in Aukland!!!??
Any Help, pointers, information would deb helpful!

Thanks
Steven

Hi

... am assuming the brother of James might be a Michael Sylvester TRACEY.

[A 1931 New Zealand newspaper article shows a James St. Martin TRACEY and a Michael Sylvester TRACEY applying to the courts for a discharge from bankruptcy. ]

Hi Steven

James is buried in  ROMAN CATHOLIC DIVISION C Row 24, Plot 23  and looking at Google map there may well be a headstone
